About me!

A brief History of my life and my home based business

 

My name is James du Plessis. (Bigdup) I was born in a little town called Steynsburg in the Eastern Cape Province South of South Africa a, July 1943. 

(Google Earth Coordinates:31°:17:45 South:25°49:05 East).

I am 68 years old . I retired when I was 65. After doing all the right things .Get a Good Education , Get a Good Job and Retire with Residual Income.

Well I got 2 out of three right .Even though I would have been considered as someone in the top 10% of the income bracket

I could not retire with an adequate residual income

 

I hardly got to know my father because he was busy winning the

second world war. My father got back from the war 1947 and

passed away 1948.So I never really got to know him . Our family

was my Mother and 2 older brothers and 1 younger brother.

 

We moved from Steynsburg 1953 to

Queenstown (Coordinates:31°53'20 South:25°52'24 East)

 

This is My old School, Queens College (Look carefully. I am standing at the entrance.)

While at school I was an average academic but I did excel at various sports. I represented my school at  Rugby , Athletics , Shooting (It used to be called Musketry) I also played Water Polo for the Queenstown Water Polo Team.

One could say I was a "Jock"

 

While at School I was also a Boy Scout where I eventually reached the level of "Queens Scout" I went to school at Queens College and finished Matric 1961.

I had an Education. I new everything!

 

 As someone once said:

"It's what you learn after you know everything is what counts ".

 

During 1962 I was conscripted to the Army for 9 Months . Some people found it hard . I enjoyed it!

1.  What I learned as a Boy Scout helped me survive,

2.  I knew how to Shoot and handle weapons and

3.  I got into the Army's Rugby Team

(If you know South Africa. Rugby is almost a religion)

If you play Rugby in the South African Army you are treated a lot better than the normal Conscripts.

After I left the Army I moved to Cape Town. (Coordinates:33°55'25 South:18° 15'24East)

I started by getting a Good Job. From then to now I made a lot of money for a few  big company's. Always working on for someone else's Dream.

During my Working years is still played rugby until I was 35 years old.

 I then took up Road Running and ran Marathons and Ultra Marathons. The Two Famous runs in South Africa is the Comrades Marathon in Durban and the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town.

Now days I play Golf for fun and excises and I am involved

with the Rotary Club of Bellville (http://www.rotarybellville.org.za)

where I am involved with various local charity projects.

A few year ago I had some very serious Health Challenges. I survived that and I found that the Health System wanted to make me a permanent patient. his is when I started 4 Yourhealth cc.

When I look back on my life I wish I started my own business years ago. It was only late in my life that I realized that the "The system is Flawed ".

 

The good news is that never before in human history has the Technology and the money making opportunities been so available.

The only way one can become financially independent is to get into your own business. Like Robert Kiyosaki say's: "Mind Your Own Business"

So where do you go if you are 66 years old, That is when you are considered unemployable (or Do you want another Job?)

 

Well I do have a Job as a Free Lance Sales and Technical support Agent for a Company called Delta Colours.

 This is the same type of industry I have worked in for many years.I am enjoying being involved in the Industry again and having the opportunity to meet new people after being out of the industry for 2 years.

 

The wonderful technology of the internet is there for  all of us to use. We have to learn how to use the new technology to learn how to build an internet home based business  and the Income Opportunities waiting to be tapped into.
